BareBag's open hook carrier supports up to 3KG or 6.6lbs (1.8KG for Classic Hook Slim), enough for buying some clothes, a quick bakery grab, and some gifts for a friend.

We engineered a 4-layer ultra-soft padding on the strap for both BareBag Nano 2 and BareBag Classic 2 to ensure all-day comfort while maintaining the most minimal style.

Classic 2 is a compact crossbody bag designed for daily urban use. It features an external dual-hook exoskeleton that lets you carry foldable umbrellas, caps, shopping bags, and more, all while keeping your hands free.

Nano 2 is a minimalist, ultra-light cardholder with our innovative Nano Disc System let you add/change the look and function to better fit your personal needs.

We get this question a lot, and the answer is: yes, thoughtfully.

For umbrellas: Foldable umbrellas with a wrist strap or loop can be easily hung on the open hook of Classic 2. It holds firm while you move, without swinging into your legs or shifting awkwardly.

For water bottles: We’re offering Bottle Carrier as add-on accessories on our website. It loops securely into the hook system and is designed to hold bottles up to 600ml.

The elastic band under Classic 2 was originally designed to anchor the hook frame securely to the fabric body, so the hook never tugs, twists, or risks tearing off. But once our team started using it daily, we found more fun uses.

Some of us slide pens or markers into it for quick access. Others loop charms or keychains through it, adding a personal touch to an otherwise minimal silhouette.

We added the elastic Velcro pad at the back of Classic 2 for two reasons:

Comfort: it acts as a soft barrier between your body and the hard hook base, especially when wearing lighter clothing.

Future modularity: we’re developing a bike attachment module, and this Velcro will help anchor it securely without extra straps.

So even if you don’t use it right away, that soft patch is a quiet promise: BareBag will keep evolving with you.

Yes, BareBag was designed to be ambidextrous, on purpose.

Both Classic 2 and Nano 2 support left- and right-shoulder carry. Nano 2 auto adapt with its rotational strap design, and Classic 2 can switch sides by re-attaching the buckle on the strap. Both straps adjust smoothly to fit different bodies and wearing styles. Whether you’re navigating subways, airports, or just moving through your day, you’ll find the bag sits naturally and comfortably, on either side.

We built BareBag for the real world, and that includes rainy days, coffee spills, and life’s little messes.

For daily cleaning: Wipe with a soft, damp cloth

For tougher spots: Use a mild detergent and spot-clean gently
